Visit Nine Patch at Bath Pride!

We are SO excited to be at year’s Bath Pride! We’ll be at Waterfront Park in Bath on Friday June 19th from 4-7pm with a small but mighty selection of pay-what-you-can secondhand supplies and other goodies made with entirely secondhand materials. I asked my partner to play around and make a scrappy little flyer with some supplies we picked up from the last swap (stamps, ink pads, decorative corner punches) to share this info (also our way of saying we’re a no AI zone here!)

For fun, a little preview of the handmade things I’m bringing:

  • Patches printed with 1950s textile transfers on secondhand fabrics. Many of these were made to test how well they worked, how they looked on certain color fabrics, etc., before applying to clothes and other projects. Now they can be yours to cover holes, stains, and logos, or just to decorate!
  • Scrappy magnets, made with magnets leftover from a swap and fabrics from my scrap pile, many of which trimming off of larger quilts and quilt-inspired pieces. Each one is one of a kind. Also pictured above holding the flyer on my fridge – an image I visualized before realizing just how low light the area around my fridge was. Oh well — we’re anti-perfectionism here, too!
  • Upcycled tote bags – pictured is one with a hand embroidered quilt square sewn to cover a misprint that led to this tote almost being discarded, despite being otherwise usable.

Maybe more too?

Hope to see you all there!
